Frame Style indicates the step-over/step-thru characteristics of the frame. We currently use the step-over or standover height to determine the frame style.
Determining Frame Style
Since there is no widely accepted definition of what frame standover height is considered step-over or step-thru, we have implemented the following definition on our site:
- High-Step (step-over): Standover height ≥ 25.5 inches.
- Mid-Step: Standover height > 20.5 and < 25.5 inches.
- Low-Step (step-thru): Standover height ≤ 20.5 inches.
If the model specifications do not include the step-over height, we estimate the frame style from available photos.
